Ahoy Dare! I’m excited to unveil : Beanie Bonanza machine knitting workshops!
In just three hours, you'll delve into the world of machine knitting in an intimate setting. With a maximum of three participants per session, you'll receive personalised guidance as you craft your very own cosy beanie hat!
All materials will be included, using sustainably sourced surplus acrylic yarns. Utilising domestic electronic knitting machines either the Brother KH940 or KH950i to select your preferred yarn hues, ribbing style, and fair isle motif for the ultimate beanie creation.
From mastering the art of casting on with a claw comb to seamlessly transferring stitches and tackling intricate fair isle patterns, I'll walk you through every step. Plus, you'll learn the ins and outs of seaming with either a linker or darning needle.

Equipment: Brother KH940 or KH950i electronic domestic knitting machines
Focus: Learning machine knitting techniques, including casting on, transferring stitches, knitting fair isle patterns, and seaming
Group Size: Small, with only two people per class for personalised attention
Cost: £70 per person, inclusive of all materials and your own beanie hat to take home
Time: 10am to 1pm
A couple of important notes for attendees:
Access: Ahoy Dare HQ is up one flight of stairs with no lift. So there is no access for wheelchair users. Please email me [email protected] if you require wheelchair access or have any issues with stairs and we can look at relocating
Refund Policy: Unfortunately, refunds cannot be provided for workshop cancellations. However, attendees are welcome to transfer their spot to a friend or family member.
Safety: Attendees are responsible for their own safety, as the workshops are conducted in a working studio environment with potentially sharp tools.
